Fabric Measurement Log

Keep the raw measurements, direction and conditions with your sample. Use one unit consistently within each calculation.

Stretch and released length

Use a separate row for each direction or repeat. Record when the released reading was taken.

Stretch % = (extended − starting) ÷ starting × 100

Remaining extension % = (released − starting) ÷ starting × 100

Starting length must be greater than zero. Keep the sign of each result.
